Sunday 31st Aug 2008 - Milford Green F.C. V Guildford Rangers F.C.
This is the second of two pre-season friendlies on the Milford Green Roster, and is seen as just what 'the Green' need to actually get there season started after they were stalled last weekend by Division 2 side Witley Wanderers. An unfortunate start which the Players, club Members and the Fans would all like to forget i'm sure. Guildford Park F.C. Div 4 side who will this year be playing with sides Milford Green will have played last year, one of These sides is EA Sports who 'The Green' recorded 4-4 and 5-0 against, however also in that league are the Cup Giants(HAHAHA) AFC Santos (No Bitterness)(I swear) who knocked Milford out of the Cup last year in the Semi-Finals.
This Game should on paper be a good match, Milford Green an Underachieving Div 3 side with fresh faces and new, big hopes on the horizon vs a promotion chasing Guildford Rangers. Some have said that the Divisional difference between the two sides is the key factor in this tie however i don't think its that clear cut Milford will have to put in a stronger performance than previous if they're to overcome this next hurdle.
The players this week at training were somewhat shock and disorintated after the weekends game, we managed to talk to Left back Jason Norris and Man of the Match Scott Gifford:
Jason N: WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYHHHHHHHEEEEEEYYY!
Scott G:(presented his trophy) He talked for so long about his performance and the teams performance we ran out of paper and then the reporter fell asleep.
As you can see the players are quite clearly well prepared for the weekend and ready for a tough match against a side that have everything to prove, The game should be good, however in the event of a bad result for 'The Green' There are no excuses that can be made.
Kristian Boxall was caught with his pants down at training again on wednesday but no pictures can be released due to complaints from his mother. But don't worry Jason Norris is working on it as i speak, or should i say Working it! If you know what i mean!

Sunday 24th Aug 2008 - Milford Green F.C. v Witley Wanderers F.C.
This game, the first pre-season friendly on the Milford Green Roster, is perhaps the most eagerly awaited game by the fans, and the players. Tension has been mounting up for weeks in the Milford Green camp as First team coach Kevin Dalton has yet to set his starting XI in stone ahead of the weekends game, it is a closely guarded secret that has left a lot of the squad sweating. In an interview with the 'Big Man' Late last week he had this to say....'It is for me to know and you to find out' before showering our reporter in saliva as he blew a Raspberry. He really is giving nothing away.
The Hype is definately Building up around the Club already, and the Fans are getting really excited as tickets went on sale today. One Fan had this to say when asked about The Greens chances this season.....'Uuuurrrggghhhrrghhh!.....(swig).....Urrghhurghhgh!....(Hiccup)' this fan then offered our reporter some brandy from his brown paper bag clutched tightly in his hand, a familiar sight at the Heath Stadium.
One Big Factor for the Club and the fans this season would be the mid season transfer last year of Goalkeeper BJ Duddell, he joined Witley wanderers for a record signing of 25p, three jelly tots and a packet of Tootie Fruities, Which created mixed feelings amongst the fans. Its not certain what kind of reception The former goalkeeper will get, but one thing is certain after a busy summer transfer period, a fresh faced Milford Green will be hoping to dominate and score goals a plenty past there former colleague.
Milford Green Have Been tipped by an Independant website ' www.welovetogetitwrong.pv' to finish in the top 3 this year, this pre-season could be just the start they need to kick start their season and get the ball rolling.
